Verbier Please!

Verbier is simply amazing. The cutest ski village, in the middle of the Swiss alps. It's not for the faint of heart though, not only the skiing, but it's quite a trek to get there. 

After flying into Geneva, you take a multitude of trains, then a gondola, yes a gondola, at the train station, that brings you up the mountain and drops you onto the north side of the village. Thankfully, this is on the main route, but depending on where you stay, could take you a little haul to get there. This isn't the worst (or best) part of it, since your waking downhill, but be ready for the trek back uphill with your luggage when you leave town! I have to give props to my personal ski Sherpa, he's really quite amazing and my hero!

Verbier is really more than a village, but think of a large village or small town. But although small, not lacking for want of anything! I can now see why this is the vacation spot of the rich and the famous. Everything is fabulous and the town in general has a great vibe and energy!

We were there just after Christmas and right before New Years, so I think it was probably a little more crowded than normal, and when you visit there, you will see why. I'm not kidding when I say that everything is amazing.
