A tasting experience to add to your bucket list! If the food and wine isn't enough, the views itself are enough to want to make you stay and gaze for the entire night, or every night thereafter! 

As you carefully navigate the walk down the switchback cobblestone staircase, try to not trip. I mean this literally, as its almost impossible to take your eyes off of the beautiful white architecture, crystal blue pools and the massive cliff and ocean below you. We were graciously greeted to the outdoor restaurant with red roses and blankets at our table, to protect us from the afternoon winds, with the most impeccable service. The entire setting was out of a dream. So serene and beautiful, the absolute best dinner views of my life. The world renowned, 3 Michelin Star chef, provides a few tasting menus, or you can order a la carte as well, but I highly recommend doing at least one of the tasting menus. 

We chose to do the Discovery Experience, which is an 11-course meal, perfectly paired with a variety of both Greek wines and others from around the world. The chef creates the entire menu, with the essence of the magic island in the forefront. Utilizing influences and local products from the sea and all the way up the mountain, you can almost taste the magic and uniqueness of the land, with each corse being better than the last. It was the ultimate expression of a tasting for the senses. 

A few highlights from the night for me, was the Caviar dish. Of course to no surprise here, the dish in fact was what first earned the chef his Michelin stars. A few others were the 

Next time your in Oia, make reservations here if you can and have the time. It will not disappoint, and likely to be a highlight of the trip, as it left us with the most magically content feeling. Theres no place in the world like it.
